Common Questions
I'm not receiving the login email code
Check your spam/junk folder. Make sure you're using the correct email address. The OTP code expires after a few minutes — request a new one if needed. If using Gmail, check the "Promotions" or "Updates" tab.
I was charged but didn't get premium features
Go to Settings → Restore Purchases in the app. This syncs your Google Play purchases with your account. If the issue persists, email us with your Google Play order ID and we'll resolve it manually.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Flames → Cancel. You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period. We cannot process cancellations on our end — subscriptions are managed by Google Play.
Someone is harassing me
Block the user immediately (Profile → ⋮ → Block). Then report them (Profile → ⋮ → Report). You can also email us with details. Blocked users cannot see your profile, send messages, or interact with you in any way.
I'm not getting any matches
Make sure your profile is complete — add multiple photos, write a bio, and answer profile prompts. Complete your profile quality checklist for better visibility. Expand your distance and age range in discovery filters.
How does end-to-end encryption work?
All chat messages are encrypted on your device before being sent. Only you and the person you're chatting with can read the messages — not even Flames can access them. If you switch devices, set up a recovery password to transfer your encryption keys.
My match expired before I could message
Free users have a 24-hour window to start a conversation. Premium users get 48 hours, and Gold users get 72 hours. Premium and Gold users can also extend matches. Send that first message early!
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are processed through Google Play. Open Google Play Store → Account → Order History → find the Flames purchase → Request Refund. Google handles all refund decisions per their policy.
