Flames ("we", "our", "us") is operated by Trending Tags Studio. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Flames mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Account Information
- Email address (used for authentication via email OTP)
- Name, date of birth, gender, and gender preferences
- Profile photos and bio/prompts
- Location data (approximate, for discovery matching)
Usage Data
- Swipe activity and match interactions
- Game participation and scores
- In-app purchase history
- App usage patterns and session data
Device Information
- Device type and operating system
- Push notification tokens
- App version
3. How We Use Your Data
- To create and manage your account
- To match you with compatible users based on preferences and location
- To facilitate conversations and in-app games
- To process in-app purchases and subscriptions
- To send push notifications (match alerts, messages, etc.)
- To enforce community guidelines and detect policy violations
- To improve the App and user experience
4. End-to-End Encryption
All chat messages in Flames are protected with end-to-end encryption (E2EE) using the NaCl cryptographic library. This means:
- Messages are encrypted on your device before being sent
- Only you and the recipient can read your messages
- We cannot access the content of your encrypted conversations
- Encryption keys are stored securely on your device
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Supabase — Backend infrastructure, database, authentication, and real-time services. Data is stored on Supabase-managed servers with row-level security.
- Google Play Billing — Processes in-app purchases and subscriptions. Purchase receipts are validated server-side.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) — Delivers push notifications to your device.
- Google Play Services — App distribution and updates.
6. Data Storage & Security
- Your data is stored on secure, encrypted Supabase servers
- All database tables use row-level security (RLS) policies
- Sensitive data (encryption keys) are stored in device secure storage
- We use HTTPS/TLS for all data transmission
- Profile photos are stored in secure cloud storage buckets
- Verification images are stored in private buckets with restricted access
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in these cases:
- With other users: Your public profile information (name, photos, bio) is shown to potential matches
- With service providers: As described in Third-Party Services above
- For legal compliance: If required by law, regulation, or legal process
- For safety: To protect users from harm, fraud, or policy violations
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data — Request a copy of all data we hold about you via the in-app data export feature
- Delete your data — Request account deletion through Settings or by contacting us. Accounts are soft-deleted with a 30-day grace period, after which all data is permanently purged
- Cancel deletion — You can cancel a pending deletion by logging back in within the 30-day grace period
- Update your data — Edit your profile information at any time through the App
- Opt out of notifications — Manage push notification preferences in the App settings
9. Data Retention
- Active accounts: Data retained while your account is active
- Deleted accounts: Data purged 30 days after deletion request
- Speed Date messages: Automatically purged after 24 hours
- Safety event logs: Retained for policy enforcement purposes
10. Children's Privacy
Flames is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we discover that a user is under 18, we will immediately terminate the account and delete all associated data.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
